Gratitude Day 19: What is the best thing that happened this past week?

Oddly enough, the other day when I went a little insane with discouragement. The episode served as a reminder to turn my focus back on God and less on myself.

For if I truly believe I’m obeying God with my words, wouldn’t you think I would confer with him as I write (as well as during every other part of my day)?

Seems obvious when put that way now, doesn’t it?

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. ~ James 1:2-4 (ESV)
